Insurance content fails people in a specific way: it sounds confident, cites nothing, and quietly sells. These standards exist so every page on this site can be checked against something.
Sourcing
- Every statistic links to a primary source — a government agency, an industry body's published research, or a carrier's own published materials. If we can't source a number, we don't print it.
- Carrier facts (ratings, products, age ranges) cite the carrier's published pages or the rating agency, and we date what we cite.
- Rate figures are labeled for what they are: carrier rate-card data when we hold it, clearly-marked illustrative samples when we don't.
What we never do
- No invented statistics, case studies, or testimonials — reviews appear only as real clients share them.
- No fake authors. Content is written and reviewed by our team and attributed to the organization.
- No pay-to-rank carrier lists. Compensation never reorders a comparison.
Review and updates
- Content is reviewed by a licensed insurance agent before publication.
- Every page carries a visible last-updated date, and product pages are re-checked as carrier offerings change.
- Errors get corrected on the page, promptly, when readers or reviewers flag them — tell us if you find one.
Why trust an independent brokerage's content
Our incentive is the comparison itself: we place policies across many carriers, so a review that hides a carrier's drawbacks doesn't serve us — it just misroutes you to the wrong policy, which we then service. Honest trade-offs are our business model. See how we work on our about page.
